What is a safety system?
Designing and installing lifelines means creating a system of two or more anchorage points joined by a taut stainless steel cable whose main function is to secure PPE (personal protective equipment) to the steel cable. With these devices, workers can move and work on the entire surface of the roof in total safety. At Zetadi in Ferno, in the Province of Varese, the lifelines we design and install are made with resistant, high-quality materials to minimize every risk for metalworkers and carpenters working on roofs. All lifelines come with a certified technical file.
Legislation on safety systems
Legislative Decree 81/2008 (Consolidated text on safety in the workplace) imposes the mandatory design and installation of lifelines when the roof becomes a 'workplace': for repairs, maintenance or installation of new roofing.
